i stream anime onto my 360 then on my HD TV. I use 360 Encode for the files that wont play and it works fine for me. i got over the fact that i can see the interlacing(squares when the animation is fast)on certain animes, but now I sometimes cant read all the subtitles cuz of letter box formatting. you should read my post under tech in the forum.

I do it... I spent, i think like 50$ on a 12 foot dvi cable.but now i have a laptop and we got a bigger and better tv upstairs works great.Projector's only for movies mostly/video game lan parties all the time.

I <3 watching HD crap on my 22" wide screen lcd.. 16:10 ain't so bad, the image quality is perfect. Watching Appleseed Ex Machina in 1080p on my PC was breathtaking.
But, in all fairness, I don't have an HDTV at my disposal, my 60" rear projection TV is out in the living room and it's just uncomfortable having the PC out there.

ahhhh, the good old days, i remember when i used to watch anime on my monitor, its nostalgic. now i have a 29" JVC Flat TV. it's nice but ofcours HDTV is the best. Cheers for you.   |

Once I figured out I could stream my files from my computer to my 360, I was in heaven. Any thing on my computer on my nice 32" LCD HDTV! The one thing i'm pissed about though is trying to find a way to play the 720p Gundam 00 eps on my 360.

I got 3 screens plugged in my pc so. i dont really care about that.
Whereas i had a 24"- 27"- 24"screens, i now have 27"-27"-27" 3000:1, 2ms response screens and i love them.
And our HDTV is in use everyday so i don't get a chance to use it

Lol so simple watch anime moves on HD and just watch ur norm animes on ur monitor if ur really bothered u can take some time and money to set up the best entertainment system like i have lol ps3 xb360 wii hd Tv + norm monitor all in my cool spotz hehehe i like my shit nice and neat and also scares ppl the **** away ^^

bleh my setup is so frikin lame i'll brag about how ghetto it is.
i too have a 15" monitor buts its crt. none of that fancy shmancy plasma/lcd goodness. And my desktop is so crappy it runs of 500 mb ram virtual memory half of which burned out so its down to less than 256...hence why anytime I run an anime over 150 mb it gets choppy and glitchy so i have to minimize my lq/sd anime version screen even smaller so i can watch it.
up until two years ago i would burn episodes onto cd lol. we all know how well that turns out.
and no i have no 360, ps3 or wii. the last system i owned was a snes that couldn't play anything more than 2d. w00t
hey sithreis: think we could start a donation drive for leechzilla so he can afford some of the said above mentioned stuff? =P

Ha. If I am ever rich, I'll start a drive for On-par computers for every member of OW. While I;m not lying, this would depend on 3 things. Me living that long, getting rich, and this site lasting. Is it really that bad to spend NO money to watch 40-60 mins of anime of my shitty laptop? Why is quality so damn important? I bet most of you don't know jap and spend most of your time at the bottom of the screen reading the subs.... so why go through the hassle?

After years of watching anime I can speedread the subs and thus spend most of my time looking at the pretty pictures. I also can ignore some lines when I know what they mean.
That's just me though.
