This site is in need of new banners and featured additions pictures.

However, it would be reasonable to say that it is strongly desired for new banner submissions to match the site's style and have consistency with other banners (so the site wouldn't be too inconsistent and end up looking like a collage). From some particular feedback, we understand that the site's layout does not appeal to all so in a way we're open to new ideas for banners. THUS, to also cope with any future problems with banner shortages we would like to start "recruiting" a team of members dedicated to finding material for banners (and also creating them.)

To be evaluated please submit banners with the following conditions:

1. Banner should contain main characters from the depicted anime series.
2. Desired font on the banner would be "Trebuchet MS". However, if you have a spanking new good looking font that would spice up the site, please don't mind using it.
3. The banner should have a certain "abstract" element in the background.
4. It is preferable that the anime title would be on the right side of the banner.
5. Banner should be 848 x 126 pixels.
6. Should not be ripped from any sort of existing banner or simply a screenshot from an episode of anime, nor under any circumstances should the artwork contain any work that does not belong to you! This is called ripping...

Conclusion

It is very likely that first time submissions would be sent back with feedback, so please don't be discouraged when that happens.

Once everything's met, we'd gladly make you a staff member in Otaku's community. This will give you all the benefits that donators get. It will also fill you with a sense of belonging, in excess of anything you ever felt like before. (not really, but those features might make you happy~)
