What does an uploader do?

Currently uploaders are tasked with informing me where to get it so I can instruct the server to pick it up. I usually have to do batches on irc or torrent anyways, and it's usually faster than uploading. Only in the event of uploading hard-to-find releases will an account be issued for uploading by our initiative. If however, you have something you want to upload that you know you cant find elsewhere, pm me and an account will be setup as necessary.

What do I get out of it?

Currently staff position affords same privileges as donators. In the near future more features and access ranks will be made available some of which will be time-based. Staff position overrides such time-based access for the duration of tenure.

What we don't want.

While there is no problem becoming staff, we expect you to do your share, not become dead weight. Don't try to become a member just for a few privileges, and then do absolutely nothing. If you try this, you will be given the axe, and also be subject to a temporary or permanent ban. We enjoy keeping our community an open place, but that does not mean we will tolerate pranks.
