So..
The following are some tips we have for how to use our search system. The search system is primitive because it was speed-coded.
Tips
- Operators: 'and' 'or' are not supported. Separate words with spaces. The correlation is 'and'. As a result, if you want to do an 'or' relation search, do it one at a time...
- Case-sensitivity: Searching is performed case-insensitive. 'Japan' is matched by 'JaPaN'
- By title: Both the primary title and any marked alternate titles are searched. Therefore, if a category is called 'japan' and you search 'nihon' (this being a the japanese word for japan), Japan would be matched.
- Simplicity is bliss: There is no reason to search "organic chemistry glossary" when any of those three words would match that category. However, the more words you include the more specific the results would be.
Your search sucks and there is something that should be matched
Good job... let me know about it... if you believe that the search is misleading, then simply contact us and let us know the issue with as much detail as possible. Your help is appreciated in improving our system database.
