Ayakashi (Anime) (One of thousands of series we have here!)
There are currently 13 polls that you have yet to voice your opinion on!
Much of the following is outdated.. it's on our to-do.

The following is a short reference page for the usual lot of questions....

  • What's the difference between an .avi and an .rmvb, or in general between different formats
  • ...and how do I play these files?
  • Q: How do I download from this site?

A: Our download service is entirely free, with (currently) no login required. All you have to do to download our files is visit our downloads section, select which anime/manga you want to download from, and click 'download' on whichever file you are after!
  • Q: What's a .zip or a .rar, and how do I use them?

A: A zip and/or a rar is a compressed archive (difference is the compression algorithm, none of which really makes much difference to you, I think. Windows has a built in program for handling zips, but you may require a program to open it. We suggest WinRAR which can handle both rars and zips.
  • Q: I know of a good anime that I think you should have on your site. How can I suggest it?

A: You can email our media manager at Alister [at] OtakuWorks [dot] com.
  • Q: I found another site that has more episodes of a certain anime than you do, or has new ones up before you do. Why don't you have as many, why don't they get put up fast, and why should I come here instead of going to the other site?

A: There are tons of fansites (sites dedicated to one anime) on the internet. Sure, these sites get the episodes up a few minutes faster, however from our experience those sites are covered in pop-ups and advertisements, as well as being slow (same with their download speeds). Of course, there are other sites, but most of them just supply a couple of series and actually ask you to PAY for anything else! These sites are run almost solely to profit off of you by providing a service that should be free - as is our belief.
Here, you get a variety of anime that can be downloaded at extremely high speeds. We place one small advertisement on each page, and hope for donations to cover the costs of our servers. We put downloads up to make users happy, not to make a profit.
